Born in 1976 and raised next to the Cantabrian Sea in the city of Donostia-San Sebastián (Basque Country, Spain) as a child I developed a strong love for nature while playing in my grandparents country house on weekends. In 1986 for my 10th birthday my parents gave me a Spectrum 48k computer and spent hours and hours in my bedroom trying to learn programming by myself.
In my teenage years I immersed myself in skateboarding and graffiti which led me in 1994 to start Arts College in Bilbao where I built a great passion for avant-garde practices. During those years I taught myself how to web design and published my first website in 1998. In 2000 thanks to a scholarship I studied Visual Communication in Berlin where I developed a love for DJing, video-art and illustration.
Later on from 2003 to 2007 I lived and breathed in Arteleku – a now defunct international art center in my hometown- a life time period in which I was part of multiple culture, sociology, and architecture projects. As the global financial crisis unfolded and my first son was born in 2008 I started working as a digital marketing, cloud computing and entrepreneurship teacher in the professional training school that my father had founded in 1992.
In 2012 while studying at the UOC University I discovered the Transhumanism movement and got deep into cybernetics, complex systems and the cosmological evolution of different life forms. As a result of my new interest in human cognitive enhancement, and with a clear aim to better understand the human brain, in 2016 I enrolled in a Psychobiology and Cognitive Neuroscience master degree at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
Now, while finishing my PhD thesis in Philosohy of Science and Technology about Artificial Creativity at the University of the Basque Country, I work as a freelance consultant in design thinking and cyberculture.
